Is there anything more delicious than fresh, warm bread? Adding Butter and salt and you are all set. Hardly any other man-made food has a history as long as bread. More than 30,000 years ago, the seeds of wild plants and other ingredients were ground and baked north of the Alps. All over the world, very different types of bread have developed. But Germany is the world champion in terms of bread variety and quality.
